M3W: Geraint's Scrapbook
Here, Geraint will be adding his own images and comments
as different jobs come in and are completed - a
periodically-updated welding-blog in other words. Check
back every so often to find out what the team are up to.
March
3rd 2014: Mid and West Wales Welding are
very busy on an order for 1500 slab-pallets
for Travis
Perkins and Wickes.
These allow the safe yard storage and
movement of paving slabs in quantity, coming
complete with lifting-slots for fork-lift
trucks.

Another job at the moment involves the
manufacture of 1000 mountings for extendable
broom-heads. These make it possible for
lorry-drivers to sweep out the beds of their
trucks without needing to clamber up onto them -
something the H&S brigade prefer them not to
do!

April
15th 2014: The slab-pallet job just grows and
grows! Here is another stack of them - we've
finished the manufacture and they are waiting to
go off to be galvanised:

Meanwhile, a rather different
job has just returned from its galvanising "experience"
- a set of gates, together with designer Phil
looking pleased with what started out on the
screen of his PC!
